In a bold step toward advancing sustainable mobility, Abu Dhabi is set to install 1,000 new electric vehicle (EV) charging stations at 400 strategic locations across the capital and surrounding regions.
The initiative comes as the emirate sees a sharp rise in EV adoption, with more than 15,000 electric vehicles registered in the first quarter of 2025 alone at a 60 per cent increase compared to the same period last year.
