The UAE continues to strengthen its position as a leading global business and talent hub, with encouraging signs emerging in its labour market.
According to the UAE Economic Graph Report 2026, prepared by LinkedIn in partnership with the UAE Ministry of Foreign Trade, the UAE recorded one of the strongest post-pandemic hiring recoveries among major global markets in 2025. Hiring activity remained above 2019 levels throughout the year, highlighting the resilience of the country's labour market.
Early data from June 2026 also points to renewed positive momentum in both hiring activity and inbound talent flows following regional volatility earlier in the year. The UAE continues to attract skilled professionals from around the world, reinforcing its role as an international centre for business, investment and innovation.
Several sectors recorded particularly strong hiring performance, including real estate, education, construction, healthcare, transport and logistics. At the same time, the UAE ranked first globally in FinTech skills and second in attracting AI talent relative to population size, highlighting the country's growing strength in the digital economy.
These trends reflect the UAE's continued efforts to develop a competitive business environment, attract international talent and support future-oriented industries. As hiring and talent flows regain momentum, the UAE is well positioned to create new opportunities for businesses, professionals and investors.
The UAE's talent economy is moving forward — supporting a more innovative, diversified and globally connected future.
