Recently, the Board of Directors of the Dubai Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has endorsed a plan to transform all Dubai taxis into environmentally friendly including hybrid, electric and hydrogen-powered by 2027. RTA has made remarkable progress in this regard, successfully transforming 72% of the taxis in Dubai into environmentally friendly vehicles, comprising a total of 8,221 hybrid vehicles. Not only Dubai, but the whole UAE attaches great importance to sustainability, and with the development of new energy vehicles in China, it is believed that more opportunities will be brought to the UAE.
