A new logistics link between the UAE and Saudi Arabia is being put in place. Saudi Ports has announced a trade bridge connecting Sharjah with Dammam, aimed at making cargo movement across the Gulf faster and more reliable.
The corridor is designed to move goods more smoothly between the two cities by combining sea and land transport into one system. Instead of handling shipments separately at different stages, the plan connects ports with inland logistics networks, which is expected to cut transit time and reduce delays.
